Introduction
This program is benefiting the tourist who has an exciting experience with an elephant but also the whole community of the elephant camp. Indeed a big part of the income generated by the tourists goes to the project. The money is being used for basic needs and food for the mahouts and their elephants. By supporting the elephant camp in Pattaya through Ecotourism, you enable Thai mahouts to earn money in a decent way, instead of performing illegal logging or ‘begging’ in big cities like Bangkok for example.

The Program:
08.30 am. A rrival at the Elephant Camp. Here we will explain you a little more about the program and tour around the camp with an English speaking volunteer guide. You will learn about the Elephant Project, know more about every elephant of the camp and their history before being at the camp.
09.00-12.00 am. After this brief introduction, you will be taught the way to treat your elephant. Once you have assimilated all these, you will do it concretely with your elephant. You will enjoy feeding, bathing and caring for your elephant. But most of all you will love the sensations of riding an elephant! These fun and exciting new experiences will make you fearless of being close to such a giant animal! You will also appreciate the Thai cuisine with a local team. You are alos free to teach English to the mahouts.
13.30 pm. Say Goodbye to your mahout and elephant.
Note: We believe that this program will help you understand Asian elephants and get new experiences. Although it is a short program, we hope it will enable visitors or tourists to recognize and understand the relationship between a poor mahout with the royalist Elephant. We hope that this initiative will help to put an end to the tortuous road to the big city for the elephants...
