Introduction:

Not far from Bangkok is the beautiful island of Koh Si Chang. If you want to escape from the busy city, this is the place to go to. The island offers beautiful nature amid peaceful atmosphere, an ideal getaway if you are getting bored of the hustle and bustle of the city. The island is also the location of a summer palace of King Rama V named Phra Chuthathut Rachathan Palace. The palace, constructed in Thaii-European architectural style, is made up of several buildings including halls, villas and a temple.

Koh Si Chang is very quiet and tourism has developed only very little here. Besides beautiful views and a natural and cultural island tour there is plenty of time for relaxation at the gorgeous white sand beach. You can enjoy a delicious seafood lunch and also have the opportunity to explore the crystal-clear ocean by sea kayak and/or with snorkeling equipment.

Program:

Day 1:

At 7 o’clock in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel . We will leave towards Sriracha where we will take a ferry around 9 o’clock in the morning. We will arrive at the beautiful island Koh Si Chang 45 minutes later. At the island we will take a local taxi for an enjoyable island tour which takes about 1.5 hours. We will visit a large and impressive Chinese temple, visit the ancient palace of king Rama the 5th and head towards a superb viewpoint on one of the tops of the island. When we arrive at the gorgeous white sand beach a delicious seafood lunch will be waiting for you. Afterwards you have all afternoon to relax at the quiet beach. You can also rent a sea kayak and snorkeling equipment to explore the clean ocean.

At 7:30pm, we will have dinner at a nice place where you will enjoy eating fresh seafood in a very chilling atmosphere... The soft marine breeze and the soothing sound of the waves will slowly but surely put you to sleep.

Day 2:

Are you ready to explore the deep sea and discover its treasures? We will pick you up at your resort a 8am to have breakfast on the beach. We will then take a boat trip that will lead us to the best spot of the island! There you will have time to enjoy swimming in the clear blue water, observe the many fishes and corals around you and improve your snorkelling skills!

After so much exercise, you must be starving, that is why we have prepared an excellent picnic on the boat for your hungry stomach! After lunch, we will head back to the main beach and from there take a tuktuk to go back to the pier. We will then take a ferry and arrive back at Sriracha in the early afternoon.

You will be taken back to your hotel and that will be the end of this program...
