Furthermore this internship will develop your skills in problem solving, management, marketing, public relations, advertising, and so on.

This program is a great opportunity for students not to be missed! So, do not hesitate one single moment and come join us to have the time of your life!

The Program:

This program will give you the opportunity to experience ecotourism through various volunteer projects. It will enable you to learn about Thai culture, rural traditions etc. while working with mahouts and Asian elephants, as well as teaching English in small primary schools and help prepare Thai food with local people. You are sure to enjoy becoming part of our environmental and community development aiming team.

Below is a detailed Itinerary of the internship program. The activites for each week can easily be changed or tailored to your liking, and the duration of the program can vary from 1 to 3 months, depending on what you prefer. Generally, the duties and responsibilities of the interns include assisting in providing information to visitors and volunteers, various Public Relations and marketing activities to promote sales or coordination between organisations. They will also carry out travel surveys, help the staff and guides on tours and sometimes also help doing construction or farming work for the local communities. Students will be working every week day, 5 hours a day. On saturdays and sundays, students will be have free time to relax and/or travel.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is very comfortable. You will stay at Parichard Place, a fully furnished resort near Robinsons (a huge mall). Your room has air-conditioning, a bathroom, a mini fridge, a wardrobe and a TV. You may have to share the room with another volunteer. The place is only 1.5km. away from the office. And there is a western bathroom. the students are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their rooms.

Food:

You will not have to worry about food as it will change each day between Thai and Occidental food. On weekdays, the students will be provided with meals 2 times a day, and are encouraged to help the staff with preparation in order to learn about Thai cuisine. However, in the evenings, the students are free to eat out at nearby restaurants or at local markets. We feel that this would be a great chance for the students to understand Thai culture and to interact with the locals. But the students must inform the staff beforehand.
