Welcome To Real Experience Thailand!

Real Experience Thailand is a fully registered tour operator and responsible travel company in Thailand. It was founded by a small  group of young individuals who care deeply about Thailand's nature and wildlife. We, both as individuals and as a friendly travel agent, feel it is our responsibility to preserve the existing environment. By organizing eco tours all around the country, we hope to increase awareness of the importance of Thailand's natural resources. In the meantime we will show you some of the most beautiful places of our country in surroundings that still maintain their natural populations.

The staff all have relevant university degrees and several years of Experience in international or travel companies. All Guides for our tours have a Tourist Guide Licence from the Tourist Authority Thailand. Before they will go on a customer trip they will be accompanied by a professional zoologist and wildlife expert for teaching about the specific trips. We also provide books about animals for our wildlife programs.

Our tours take place in small private groups and we visit areas that have not been commercially exploited. By visiting the most interesting and wonderful places in Thailand, you will have a great experience while helping to maintain natural communities and support projects that benefit the environment. 

Our Goals

• Preserve the existing environment and natural resources

• Reduce the negative environmental impacts of tourism

• Increase awareness of Thailand’s environmental issues by educating the international volunteer/tourist

• Provide an alternative occupation for locals that puts a value on the environment and wildlife while raising  their standard of living

Standards or principles followed to minimize the impact that trips have on the environment: 

- Groups are small size.
- Education is one of our main goals. 
- Trekking will only take place on existing paths.
- No litter or anything will be left in the forest.
- Local experienced park rangers will support us on all the nature tours.
- We do not allow our customers to bring anything from the forest or sea.
- Noise is kept at a minimum.
- All animals that we watch will be observed only and will not be scared or challanged to move. 

All our tour guides are Thai people. They play a very important role in our organization as they represent Eco Explorer and they make sure that travelers have a satisfying eco holiday. In the national parks we work together with local rangers and guides. All transportation is either by minivan or local bus. All accomodation is located in local villages, campsites or hotels which are mostly owned by Thai people. The local community is therefore always solicited.

In all national parks that we visit we are accompanied by specialist park rangers that look after our safety and that will make sure all park regulations are maintained. A combination between the park rangers and specialist guides make sure the travelers on our tour are well educated about the environment, the animals and about eco tourism

By acting as guides and porters for people interested in ecotourism we are providing an alternative occupation for local people instead of the hunting of animals, which has been a main source of income in the past. By making them aware of the importance of animal protection we are also showing them that the animal's continued existence is in fact of great advantage to them.

When traveling with us, you will aid us in preventing the destruction of precious resources in this part of South-East Asia. All of our projects are supported and funded by income generated by ecotourism.
